Starting January 1, 2018, the PE Chemical Exam is being administered via computer-based testing (CBT). While the Board anticipates a much shorter turnaround time for new CBT PE Chemical Application reviews, applicants wanting to take the exam should still provide their application to the Board at least 90 days in advance of their desired examination date. Please visit the NCEES website for more information about the new CBT PE Chemical Exam, in addition to reviewing the document in the table below entitled “NCEES PE Chemical CBT Exam Information”.
The NCEES website has been updated to show additional information regarding the FE and PE exam transition to CBT, including the projected schedule for the remaining PE exams. Please feel free to visit https://ncees.org/cbt for details.
